First Annual Allerton Music Barn Festival
August 31 - September 3
A grand dame of the Midwest -- a big red, acoustically perfect gambrel barn -- has been restored to her yesteryear glory. Come Labor Day weekend, she'll be the venue for the Allerton Music Barn Festival.
We're kicking off the festival with an appropriately global spin on the tried, true, and new. Afro-Latin Jazz. Aaron Copland & William Walton. Bach Cantata #147 "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben". Balinese Music & Puppetry. A Cajun/Creole mix called Zydeco.
And with it...Roasted Pork Medallions served with rice & beans. Homemade Flan and Sangria. Salt Crusted Prime Rib. Brioche French Toast. Chicken, Shrimp & Sausage Gumbo. Food and drink attuned to the spirit of the music, prepared by the renowned K-Spear Culinary Arts.
At this music festival, the culinary sets the stage for the acoustic. (And tickets includes both the meal and the performance.)
If your event is already sold out, sign up to be considered for our lottery.
